We are helping to build an Iron Age roundhouse....

...at the Yorkshire Museum of Farming on the eastern outskirts of York. Why? Because we like building round things! It started a couple of years ago when we were part of a group building a new pagan sacred site in North Yorkshire, whch turned out to be a stone circle. Once we had built it the group got the making bug and were pleased to be approached by a contact from the Museum. There they have a large replica Viking village as well as a Roman fort, and they wanted a just pre-Roman settlement to start the historical tour off.
